The principle of Class A amplifier is to amplify various sound signals played by the audio source to drive the speaker to produce sound. During its operation, the two (or two groups) transistors in the output stage remain conductive throughout the entire signal cycle, maintaining a certain current flow regardless of whether there is an input signal. This design ensures excellent linearity of Class A amplifiers when amplifying signals, accurately reproducing the waveform of input signals, reducing distortion, and providing high-quality audio amplification effects. However, the efficiency of A-class amplifiers is relatively low, and most of the electrical energy is converted into heat, requiring the installation of large heat sinks.
